Present in the yard the last few days have included Horned Lark (10-50), White-crowned Sparrow (20-50), American Tree Sparrow (1-4), Dark-eyed Junco (Oregon, Pink-sided, Slate-colored, Gray-headed 1-6), American Goldfinch (1-13), Western Meadowlark (1-6), Red-winged Blackbird (1-350), Eurasian Collared-dove (1), Rock Pigeon (1-45), Snow Geese (300 flyover), Northern Harrier (1), Red-tailed Hawk (1), American Kestrel (1), Common Grackle (1), House Finch (1), House Sparrow (10-50)

about 1000 Red-winged Blackbirds have swarmed through the yard 2 or 3 times a day for the last several days

with the snow cover over 50 Jackrabbits have moved in close...eating the shrubbery, trees, everything in sight...
including the milo on top the picnic table for the birds
...lot of Cottontails here as well...
